Accepting The Full Spectrum of a Relationship and Being Single

Being in a relationship and being single is something that are at the opposite end of each other.

If you think being in a relationship is great, have you ever considered the real full spectrum of a relationship?

You get a companionship, you have a beautiful girl or a handsome boy next to you and you also have someone who is able to propel your growth as an individual faster than if you are alone.

On the other hand, you also need to live with the fact that you need to tolerate some other person’s behaviour at times.

That’s the whole package of a relationship.

Singlehood comes with its own perks and benefits too. You are free to flirt and date with anybody. That’s the main one.

But at times, you find it hard to look for a partner to attend a friend’s wedding reception. And the only available girl in your phonebook is just not that socially savvy to be your partner. That’s one of the drawback of being single.

Think of it as wanting to have a lot of money. Having a lot of money is nice but are you ready to face the responsibility of managing that much of money if you have it?

It is true with great power comes great responsibility.

Taking a date to a wedding reception is like taking a deer carcass on a hunting trip.
